Data miningis gaining popularity in every sector for its diverse methods and approaches in research and knowledge discovery. Health sector being an important application area of data mining is exploiting different data mining techniques tremendouslyin different healthcare services. In this sector a huge amount of data is being generated every day which are very much valuable if properly processed and analyzed through data mining techniques. Thus these data can be used in disease identification, classification, prediction and diagnosis. A clear review of different techniques of data mining in health care services has been conferred here throughout this paper. In this paper I have made an effort to represent a clear definition of different data mining techniques, how they work and how they can be used in medical industry to provide even better quality of services.
