The Perception of Undergraduate Students in Using Visual Aids in Case of Teaching Speaking in Bangladesh

This paper investigates on the topic,using visual aids incase of teaching speaking in educational sectorsof Bangladesh.One hundred undergraduate students took part in this research. The investigation has taken from the three different universities. The paper describes the actual practice of visual aids by the teachers, and students, their attitudes, and the problems they face in using visual aids in case of teaching speaking. For this research, methods are used for this study was a questionnaire survey and class observation. The result from an analysis of the questionnaire survey and class observation indicates that the use of visual aids in the classroom is still limited. Students like to use them butteachers do not encourage them. This device is not available in every institution because of not having enough resources. This study couldhelp the teachersand students to resolve the problems and find some strategies to improve their teaching speaking.
